However, I’m located in the EU and am during wintertime using the GOVE device connected to the WiFi in our small cottage and reading the measurements on my iPhone with the app from GOVE, some 50 miles from the cottage. So the GOVE device is not directly on the same wifi network but uses the fiber optic internet connection. Is the device sold in the USA different from the EU version?

I came across your review here since I’m concerned that Chinese devices require one to connect to some server, and I want to move to a USA or EU product.
